Show Google Maps

Objective

The Show Google Map function displays a satellite view of the site with markers for all recorded rock art clusters.

Processing

The first page displays the list of surveys in the database that have topography data. The column labeled Number of Panels with Topo Data excludes panels that are used as a primary datum. If topo data was collected for B, C, D... panels, these panels are included in the count. If no topography data was collected, the survey will not be listed.

To continue, select a survey by clicking on the Ref Nbr of a survey.

The second page displays a text area where the user may key or paste data for one or more cluster UTMs. In most cases, only the primary UTM needs to be entered.

A Google satellite view is displayed. Markers for each cluster with topo data overlay the satellite view. The normal Google controls for zooming and panning the satellite view may be used.

Clicking the markers will open a popup windows showing the images and data related to the cluster.
